My Gold Coast-Brisbane Trip

My Gold Coast-Brisbane trip happened on the 20th until 29th of September which was about 1 month ago but as I said before, there were just too many things to distract me from start blogging, that's why, hahaha..

The 1st Day

We reached Gold Coast in the evening and there was nothing much we could do on the first day. The only thing we did was went to Surfer Paradise aka the city centre at night to have some shopping.

The 2nd Day

We decided to go for an island tour that day. We waited for the bus to go to the place where we were supposed to gather. We waited for about half an hour but to no avail. Then only we knew that the bus we were waiting for would not go through that road as it normally did because of some construction work for the Grand Prix in October.*wtf*

So instead of island tour, we went to Harbour Town which was a place something like a factory outlet for shopping.

As I don't really like the fashion in Australia, I didnt manage to get anything from Harbour Town despite of its crazily cheap price *wtf* ( I am a sensible girl that would not buy something i would not wear just because of the cheap price k?? hahaha...) So how did i spend the time in Harbour Town?

Banana juice + Chocolate

I spent hours drinking Boost (a well-known juice bar in Australia, I supposed) in Harbour Town. Sounded pathetic?? No, I was enjoying it :p

So what did we do at night?? Since there was usually no places to go at night in Australia, i suggested to pay a visit to the only 6-star hotel in Australia --------> Palazzo Versace, Gold Coast.

Waiting for the bus

Managed to cam-whore at the bus stop.

Unfortunately, due to the construction work for the Grand Prix (again!! WTF la..) we waited for 3 hours at the bus stop and 3 buses passed by but none of the bus stopped for us. It was about 1am already, so we walked back to the apartment without going anywhere although we had waited 3 hours for the bus. But we did go for a night stroll at the beach just opposite our apartment before going back n oo oo..

The 3rd Day

We spent the whole day in Movie World.

At night, we still hadn't given up on our plan to Palazzo Versace. And WE MAKE IT this time!! Sze Mann and Kenny were also going with us (Jess, Hung Guan, Gabriel and me).

Palazzo Versace: The 6-star hotel that only uses Versace products in their rooms.
