Adelaide Zoo

Speaking of Adelaide Zoo, I would not go if it is not for the sake of the panda. Having been studying in Adelaide for 2 years plus, I had never thought of visiting Adelaide Zoo although it is situated just behind the lab where we had our practical sessions during our first year. (sounds cool har to have the zoo behind the lab, haha, because Adelaide city is so small that everything just clusters together) Why? Because I had visited so many wildlife parks either in Adelaide or while travelling in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and Perth (I think wildlife park is a must-visit while travelling around Australia har?) and the animals are almost the same over the whole Australia- emu, koala, kangaroo, seal, lion, tiger, tortoise, tasmanian devil bla bla bla. See them until sien enough zzzz. Plus, the ticket is so expensive, AU$20 for students wey compared to RM5 for adults and RM1 for children in Malaysia (I supposed?) And instead of getting to see hundreds of seals lying along the coast at Kangaroo Island and waddles of penguins coming back from the ocean at Phillip Island, there are only 2 seals and about 10 penguins in Adelaide Zoo, hmm..

The VIP of the day. I could hear applause from the crowd when it finally appeared. Duak liak betul. And you only get to view it once which means once you leave the panda house, you can't enter it again. (It is not like other animals which u can view them as many times as you wish)

So cute ♥ It is worth it to stand under the scorching sun just to have a look at it. (can't believe these words actually come out from the mouth of mine. I am a puteri lilin hahahaha. I am the only one who held an umbrella in the zoo that day.)

I think my face is smaller than the face of the panda right although it seems not to be here :(

Clumsy yet cute.

Trying to push the stone har?

Panda: Huh??

Wondering what it saw.

The bamboo were placed at every corner on purpose so that the panda would move around the area to look for the food.

Nah, the VIP got their own room and a big garden outside.

Eating the bamboo.

Te Ying and I taken at the panda souvenir shop.

Andy was not in the picture.

****Other animals****

I may look old but I am actually 34 years old only.

Hippopotamus opened its mouth biggggggggg

Little otters

Flamingo.

Only left 2 because one of them was hit by the visitor and was cedera parah now @.@

I supposed it is from Malaysia or Indonesia. How can it survive the winter here?

Life Studying Abroad

Is it a routine to change the friends around you every year when you are studying abroad?

In Adelaide, no one cares to even make a call to me.

In Adelaide, nobody really remembers to tell me when they want to go out.

In Adelaide, I "know" many friends yet I actually got no friends.

In Adelaide, friendship is so unreliable.

In Adelaide, being away from family and friends.

In Adelaide, I am always alone.

In Adelaide, I can't find the place where I belong to, except the daily mundane life.

那么近,却又是那么远

哑子吃黄莲,有苦自己知。悬在半空中,孰不知,那其实也是一种伤害。

Finally decided

So I had finally decided to take iPhone. Like really finally, haha. Still remember 2 days before taking iPhone, I even called babe to ask her about e71 because it is quite similar to her phone which is e72 and what I preferred at that time was really e71, really fickle-minded har? hmm.. And how come I changed my mind to iPhone? Because of its music la which is really useful for me to kill boredom at times.

So here it is

Back in Adelaide

Back to the place where kangaroo meat is being sold at the market. Uni had started and according to my senoirs, there were quite a lot of students who failed their exam during the third year. Omg! I think now is the time for me to start studying for this tough year ahead and back to the normal student life instead of watching drama all the time and only study for exam at the very last last minute. Ya, I will do it! Wish me luck.
